Trine Mittag has my deepest respect. Her dedication to the education of the horse and her impressive results are a testament to her exceptional skills as a rider. Trine has participated in the Danish Championships multiple times, reaching the final six times. She won team gold and individual bronze at the Nordic Championships in 2021. By providing each of her horses with thorough and individualized training, where time and patience are prioritized, she ensures that every horse develops optimally. Stutteri Just JK collaborates with Trine Mittag when both young and older horses need training. We look forward to many years of collaboration.
Klosterhof Medingen
Klosterhof Medingen is a farm and stallion station located in Medingen, a district of Bad Bevensen in Lower Saxony, Germany. The estate was founded in the 17th century as part of the local monastery and has a rich history in horse breeding.
Since 1960, the Wahler family has operated a Trakehner station at Klosterhof Medingen. The farm is renowned for its stallion station and has bred several remarkable horses. Jens Kvist had a long-standing collaboration with Klosterhof Medingen, producing many outstanding offspring using stallions from their station.
My decision to establish a partnership with Klosterhof Medingen feels like a natural extension of continuing Jens Kvist's legacy. Tradition and quality go hand in hand in this endeavor.
During our visit to Klosterhof Medingen's annual autumn auction in 2024, we were met with an incredibly warm and welcoming reception combined with a professional atmosphere. This experience reaffirmed the family-driven spirit and openness that characterize the place, and it was a pleasure to witness their impressive stallions.
Klosterhof Medingen is renowned for its annual autumn auction, where approximately 25 elite riding horses and 35 top-quality foals change hands. This auction is one of the world's largest and most significant private auctions for dressage horses and foals.
Hannoveraner Verband
It was Jens Kvist who first introduced me to the Hanoverian horse. His long-standing collaboration with the Hanoverian Verband made it a natural choice for me to continue within this association—a decision I have never regretted. As a breeder, I have been met with great hospitality both in the German federation and its Danish branch. I look forward to many years of collaboration with the goal of breeding healthy foals of top quality.
The Hanoverian Verband is the official organization for breeders of Hanoverian horses in Germany. The association was founded in 1922 through the merger of 54 private breeding societies and has since played a central role in the development and promotion of the Hanoverian horse.
The Hanoverian Verband also collaborates with international organizations and has affiliated societies in countries such as the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, France, and Russia.
The Danish Hanoverian Breeding Association is dedicated to the breeding and promotion of the Hanoverian horse in Denmark. It serves as a Danish branch under the German Hanoverian Verband and offers a range of activities and events for both experienced and new breeders.
