Aquintina

Aquintina
Born: 2000

Aquintina has competed internationally in 140 cm show jumping classes and achieved B-horse status in dressage. With her outstanding dual talent, it is no surprise that her pedigree is filled with top horses in both dressage and show jumping.

Pedigree & Performance Lineage

Sire Line:
Aquintina's sire, Clinton, has competed in 140 cm classes, while her paternal grandfather, Caretino, is one of the leading breeding stallions in Holsteiner breeding.

The paternal line traces back to the legendary Caletto II and further to Cor de la Bryère, often referred to as the stallion of the century.
Caretino himself competed at the 160 cm level.
Clinton's maternal grandfather, Come-On, jumped at 150 cm and also comes from a strong line of top show jumpers.

Dam Line:
On her mother's side, Aquintina has strong genetics in both dressage and show jumping:

Her maternal grandfather, Lucky Bua, was by a Thoroughbred stallion out of a Dutch Warmblood mare.
Lucky Bua's maternal grandfather, Duc de Normandie, was the sire of Olympic Duco, who won:

  • 🥈 Team silver at the 1986 World Championships in Cedar Valley
  • 🥉 Team bronze at the 1987 European Championships

Lucky Bua's maternal great-grandfather was Amor, one of the most important breeding stallions in Dutch breeding history.

Aquintina's dam, Arora, was herself a B-horse in dressage, and her maternal grandfather was the legendary Alme Z.
Alme Z was an outstanding 170 cm showjumper and one of the most important stallions in French showjumping breeding.
He is the only stallion ever to have sired 2 World Cup champions and 3 Olympic showjumpers.

Retirement & Legacy

Despite her exceptional bloodlines, it has unfortunately not been possible to continue Aquintina's breeding line. Now, at the age of 25, she is enjoying a well-deserved retirement at Just JK, where she is cherished as the senior mare among our breeding mares.
